The test includes eight hours of an ambient stage with a 1% complex salt spray, eight hours of a humid stage and eight hours of a dry-off stage to replicate extreme conditions and validate each tip for resistance to discoloration and corrosion. Additionally, the tips are subjected to a two-hour thermal heat soak at ~392°F for discoloration evaluation.
